Colnago Mexico Mockba TT Aerodinamica, Campagnolo Super Record, Columbus SL Steel Tubing.
You’re looking at a very special bike. This bike is special made for former women’s cycling world champion Nicole van der Broeck from Belgium. As a gift to honor her.
The bike was made later than the other Colnago Mexico Aerodinamica bikes. Take a look at the bottom bracket for example, it is the same as the Colnago Nuovo Mexico from 1983. The other Colnago Aerodinamica bikes were manufactured until 1981.
This bike has some very nice features, such as a 26 inch front wheel and a 28 inch rear wheel, the front brake sits backwards and the seat post (23mm) and the stem are from a very small diameter (17mm) for the best aerodynamics. And this bike also has “crimped” Columbus SL Steel tubing, which are smaller than other Colnago bikes.
What makes this bike very rare from other Colnago Mexico Aerodinamica bikes:
there is no internal cable routing;
it has a different bottom bracket;
the rear brake is not backwards;
the shifters are mounted at the “normal” place;
No aero shifters;
a different kind of crimped tubes is used;
there is no flat metal tab for the front derailleur.
There is no second bike like this!
The condition of the bike is really great!
